What not to do when you can't think of something to post about

Cut off a chunk of your finger while hastily making breakfast for the kids. Makes for a crappy morning, and frankly, day. I spent the morning in the ER. We are hoping that the piece that got cut off will reincorporate itself, or just detach and allow for regeneration.

Note to my former and current violin teacher. Being my left index finger, it will make playing violin a tad difficult.

So, as I'm in the hospital this morning, I had a few thoughts:

1. Crap.
2. Well, this is a good blog post!
3.Since I have to keep this thing elevated for 24 hrs., wouldn't it be funny if it were my middle finger?

Still made it to stat class and successfully took a test today. Do not know if the grade will be successful, but at least it is over with.

5. What were you making and did you get blood in it?

6. did everyone get to eat said breakfast or was it abandoned in favor of getting your medical attention?

7. an injury is *always good blog fodder.

I was thinking like kwr221 and wondering what the hell you cut for breakfast...cereal?...no. Eggs?...no Poptarts?...no. Maybe just one mean butter knife.

OMG--OWWWWW! I'm with Jen though: do you have any trouble using the computer? Because THAT would be tragic!

Feel better! :)

EWWWW, Nasty, double Nasty!!!! What's up with you & Skylar???? I'm glad you are doing okay! Sorry that I've been quiet over here on my end. We have been dealing with Skylar, but he's starting to at least be able to rest for part of the day.
